Pre- and Post-Adoptive Parents

There are many reasons a family might choose to adopt.  At many points during their journey toward parenthood, they are faced with making difficult decisions, and taking a leap of faith to move forward in building their family.  There are many sources of information for adoptive families, and each has their place in the process.   Support groups can offer suggestions, personal information and
experience, and empathy when its members deal with family, friends, and the rest of the world.

Concerned Persons For Adoption is a support group for pre- and post-adoptive families with educational programs, family social events, networking opportunities and newsletters throughout the year. Our programs cover pre- and post-adoptive topics, domestic and international adoption, infant and older child adoption. We also have a new adoptive parents' book discussion group. Plus we always have a chat room for those who need to discuss a personal issue.
We represent 36 years of supporting adoptive families through their journey, advocating for waiting children, and educating the public through outreach
programs.
